Capping off a packed week of photography announcements, DJI has officially launched the Osmo Pocket 4P during the Cannes Film Festival in France. The new premium pocket camera introduces a dual-camera system for the first time in the Osmo Pocket lineup.

The addition of a second camera is the headline feature of the Pocket 4P. DJI is clearly aiming to give creators more flexibility for framing, portraits, and cinematic storytelling while also competing directly with the upcoming Insta360 Luna Ultra.

DJI Pushes Pocket Cameras Further

“Built upon DJI’s legacy in professional cinematography, including its industry-defining DJI Ronin and DJI Inspire platforms, the Osmo Pocket 4P represents the convergence of high-end film technology and extreme portability,” DJI says.

The company adds that the Pocket 4P combines “professional cinema capabilities into a truly pocket-sized form factor,” emphasizing its 10-bit D-Log2 workflow and cinematic dynamic range.

Dual Cameras for More Creative Flexibility

The new dual-camera setup allows users to switch between wide-angle and telephoto perspectives without relying entirely on digital zoom. DJI says the telephoto system is designed to improve portrait shooting with “natural skin tones and cinematic depth.”

Based on information shared during the launch, the telephoto camera is expected to feature an equivalent focal length of around 60mm. That tighter framing should help create more flattering portraits and stronger background separation compared to the wider main camera.

Upgraded Color and Dynamic Range

One of the more important upgrades is the move to 10-bit D-Log2 recording. Unlike the standard Pocket 4, which uses regular D-Log, the Pocket 4P is designed with more advanced color grading workflows in mind.

D-Log2 is intended for demanding lighting environments and cinematic production. The profile preserves more highlight and shadow detail, giving filmmakers and creators additional flexibility during post-production.

The DJI Pocket 4P brings dual cameras and 10-bit D-Log2 recording to the pocket camera space.

Improved Low-Light Performance

DJI also says the Osmo Pocket 4P features an upgraded imaging system for improved low-light shooting. Promotional materials specifically highlight nighttime city scenes and indoor filming scenarios.

While DJI still has not released a complete spec sheet, rumors suggest the camera may support high frame rate recording and improved still image quality over previous Pocket models.

“Following the global success of its predecessor, the Osmo Pocket 4P builds on a growing movement in which compact cameras are reshaping how stories are created and shared,” DJI says.

The company also positions the Pocket 4P as part of a broader creator ecosystem alongside DJI’s audio, stabilization, and filmmaking accessories.

Pricing and Availability

DJI has not yet revealed official pricing or configuration details for the Osmo Pocket 4P. The company says more information will be announced at a later date.

Availability in the United States also remains uncertain. Recent DJI products have not officially launched in the US due to ongoing FCC approval issues.

Insta360 may have another major hit on its hands. Just as the company grabbed attention with its retro-styled Go camera teaser, a new leak for the upcoming Luna Ultra is making an even bigger splash online.

The biggest reveal? The Luna Ultra reportedly has a fully detachable controller and screen setup.

A Detachable Screen on a Pocket Camera

New images shared online suggest that the Luna Ultra’s entire controller section—including the OLED display—can detach from the camera body.

That means users can control the camera remotely while also getting a live view feed, making it much easier to frame shots from a distance or film themselves without guessing composition.

If true, this could be one of the most interesting features we’ve seen on a pocket vlogging camera so far.

The concept is somewhat similar to DJI’s FrameTap controller on the Osmo Mobile 8P or the Hohem iSteady MT3 Pro remote system. For solo creators, livestreamers, or anyone shooting talking-head videos, this could make setup and framing dramatically easier.

The Controller Does More Than Just Display Video

According to the leak, the detachable unit supports up to 4K30p live view monitoring and also displays camera settings, zoom levels, and recording information.

Physical controls on the remote reportedly include a red record button, joystick, directional pad, and several customizable function buttons. There’s also a status LED and full wireless connectivity between the controller and camera.

Dual Cameras and Leica-Tuned Optics

The Luna Ultra is also rumored to feature a dual-camera system with Leica co-engineered optics and bright F/1.8 apertures. Reports point to a Type 1 sensor setup paired with advanced video specs, including 4K240p recording, 10-bit color, Dolby Vision HDR, and I-Log support.

Leica color profiles are also expected to be included, giving creators more cinematic color options straight out of the camera.

Up to 6x Lossless Zoom

Like the rumored DJI Osmo Pocket 4P, the Luna Ultra is expected to support up to 6x lossless zoom using in-sensor cropping.

That should give creators more flexibility when framing shots without heavily sacrificing image quality.

Compact but Surprisingly Powerful

Battery life is reportedly rated at up to 180 minutes of continuous recording using a 1500mAh battery.

Even with the detachable controller system, the entire setup is said to weigh around 150g, which is impressively lightweight considering the rumored specs.

Pricing and Availability

Insta360 has not officially announced pricing for the Luna or Luna Ultra yet.

Current rumors suggest the Luna Ultra could launch around the $735 price range, putting it directly against DJI’s Osmo Pocket 4 and the upcoming Pocket 4P.

The Insta360 Luna series is expected to launch sometime in Q2 2026.

Insta360 has dropped a surprise teaser for a new retro-inspired Go action camera product. While most attention has been focused on the upcoming Luna vlogging cameras, this latest teaser hints at something very different—and honestly, kind of cool.

The short clip shows what looks like an Insta360 Go 3S-style action camera paired with a redesigned retro-themed Action Pod.

A Vintage Look for the Tiny Action Camera

The teaser carries the tagline “Let’s go retro” and leans heavily into vintage aesthetics. From the warm retro-inspired color palette to the compact rectangular body, the whole thing gives off strong old-school point-and-shoot vibes.

A lot of people online immediately compared the styling to cameras like the Kodak Charmera, a very popular retro-inspired digital camera.

Is It a New Camera or Just an Accessory?

That’s the big question right now.

Insta360 hasn’t confirmed whether this is an entirely new camera or simply a new accessory for the existing Go 3S. Based on the teaser, many believe it’s likely a redesigned Action Pod rather than a full-blown Go 4.

The camera module itself looks almost identical to the current Go 3S, which adds more weight to that theory.

A Different Kind of Action Pod

The redesigned Action Pod seems to ditch the large flip-style screen found on the regular Go 3S. Instead, it appears to feature a much smaller waist-level style display that adds to the retro camera aesthetic.

The overall design almost turns the tiny action camera into a miniature point-and-shoot. There are also scenes in the teaser showing users pressing physical controls on the pod, likely to take photos or start recording.

Wearable Camera Vibes

Insta360 Go 3S action pod teaser.

Fans online suspect that it is a redesigned Action Pod for the Go 3S rather than a new action camera.

One interesting detail is that the teaser shows the camera being worn as a pendant—even while attached to the retro pod.

The original Go 3S already supports pendant-style mounting through accessories, but seeing the retro pod used this way suggests Insta360 may be pushing this more as a lifestyle or fashion-oriented camera setup.

Fans Seem Pretty Excited

Reaction online has been surprisingly positive so far. A lot of comments online seem genuinely interested in the retro styling, especially since compact lifestyle cameras are becoming popular again.

Even if it turns out to just be a Go 3S accessory, it definitely feels more creative than the usual action camera refresh.

Launch Date

Insta360 is expected to officially unveil the product on May 14, 2026 at 8AM EDT.

It’s shaping up to be a packed week for camera announcements, with the Sony A7R VI and Canon EOS R6V both expected to debut just a day earlier.

DJI has finally teased the upcoming Osmo Pocket 4P after months of leaks and speculation. The announcement comes just weeks after the launch of the standard Osmo Pocket 4.

With the tagline “See More. Tell More,” the short teaser puts the spotlight on one big upgrade—a dual-camera system.

A First for the Pocket Series

The Osmo Pocket 4P will feature both a wide-angle and a telephoto camera. The setup includes a 20mm F/2.0 main camera with a 1-inch sensor, paired with a 60mm-equivalent telephoto using a 1/1.5-inch sensor.

It’s the first time DJI has added a second camera to the Pocket lineup, and it’s clearly aimed at giving creators more flexibility in how they shoot.

More Reach, More Creative Options

That telephoto camera isn’t just for show. It enables tighter framing for portraits and detail shots, helping maintain more natural proportions and better background separation.

On top of that, the camera reportedly supports up to 6x lossless zoom using in-sensor cropping, along with a 12x digital zoom for even more reach.

The Pocket 4P is also expected to see a big jump in still image quality. Reports suggest it can capture up to 37-megapixel photos, a significant leap from previous models.

Video capabilities are also rumored to improve, with support for 4K at up to 240fps, 14 stops of dynamic range, and 10-bit D-Log. There’s also talk of Hasselblad color tuning making its way into the Pocket series.

Familiar Features, Now More Powerful

Despite the upgrades, DJI is keeping the core Pocket experience intact. The 4P is expected to feature a 3-axis mechanical gimbal, ActiveTrack 7.0, and a 2-inch rotatable touchscreen.

There are also hidden controls behind the screen, including a zoom button and a customizable function button for quick adjustments.

Internal storage is rumored to go up to 128GB, which is a welcome addition given the rising cost of memory cards. This makes the camera more convenient for creators who want to shoot without constantly swapping storage.

Combined with its compact size, the Pocket 4P is shaping up to be a very flexible all-in-one content creation tool.

Pricing and Availability

There’s no official pricing yet, but it’s expected to cost more than the standard Osmo Pocket 4 due to the added hardware. For reference, the base model currently retails around £445.

As with other recent DJI releases, availability in the US remains uncertain due to pending FCC approvals, though a global launch is expected elsewhere.

DJI has officially launched the Osmo Mobile 8P globally, following its earlier China-only release. The new smartphone gimbal brings a mix of smarter tracking, better integration, and a few meaningful hardware upgrades.

At first glance, it looks like a typical generational update—but there’s one feature that really stands out.

The FrameTap Remote Changes How You Shoot

The biggest upgrade is the new FrameTap remote, which is detachable and includes a built-in display. It mirrors your phone’s live view, letting you frame shots and control the gimbal from a distance.

There’s also a joystick for movement and zoom, making it feel more like using a dedicated camera setup. For solo creators and vloggers, this adds a lot more flexibility without needing a second person behind the camera.

Smarter Tracking With ActiveTrack 8.0

DJI is introducing ActiveTrack 8.0, which aims to improve subject tracking in more challenging situations. It’s designed to stay locked onto subjects even in crowded scenes or when they briefly move out of frame.

The system can also recognize more subjects, including people, pets, vehicles, and objects. When paired with the Multifunctional Module 2, tracking becomes even more reliable.

The Multifunctional Module 2 now includes an adjustable LED fill light with multiple brightness and color temperature levels. This is especially useful for vlogging or livestreaming in low light. It also adds more control over how your subject is lit without needing extra gear.

Better Integration With iPhone

The Osmo Mobile 8P now supports Apple DockKit, allowing it to work directly with the native iPhone camera app. This means you can use tracking features without relying entirely on the DJI Mimo app.

It’s a small change, but it makes the gimbal more seamless to use for iPhone shooters.

Familiar Features Still Here

Like previous models, the gimbal includes a built-in extension rod for more flexible shooting angles. The tripod has also been widened for better stability during static shots.

It also supports full 360-degree pan rotation, making it easier to capture smooth motion and creative shots.

Battery Life and App Features

The Osmo Mobile 8P is rated for up to 10 hours of battery life on a single charge. The USB-C port can also be used to charge your phone while filming.

Using the DJI Mimo app unlocks additional features like DynamicZoom, motion timelapse, widescreen recording, and AI-assisted editing tools.

Pricing and Availability

The Osmo Mobile 8P is now available globally through DJI and authorized retailers. Pricing starts at $127 for the standard bundle, $173 for the Advanced Tracking Combo, and $226 for the Creator Combo.

Availability in the U.S. remains uncertain for now, although some third-party retailers may offer limited stock.

The Federal Communications Commission is now accepting public comments regarding its decision to place foreign-made drones on its “Covered List”—a move that has effectively restricted companies like DJI from selling new products in the U.S.

The development comes months after the controversial decision sparked backlash across the drone community, particularly among professionals and businesses that rely heavily on DJI’s ecosystem.

A Quick Recap of What Happened

Late last year, the FCC added DJI and other foreign drone manufacturers to its Covered List after a required security audit process failed to materialize before the deadline.

As a result, new DJI products can’t be legally marketed or sold in the U.S. without FCC authorization. Since then, DJI has notably skipped U.S. releases for several major products, including drones and camera gear.

DJI has also filed a lawsuit challenging the FCC’s decision, arguing that the move is both unfair and harmful to its business and users.

“The listing… causes great harm to DJI and its customers,” the company said, adding that it restricts access to tools used by “small business owners, public safety officers, farmers, and creators.”

Public Input Could Influence the Outcome

Now, in what many see as a rare opportunity to influence policy, the FCC is opening the floor to public feedback as part of its review process.

The deadline to submit comments is May 11, and both DJI and the Drone Advocacy Alliance are encouraging users to participate.

According to the Alliance:

“You don’t have to be a drone expert… You simply need to share your story—how drones impact your work, business, or community.”

Why This Matters

DJI Avata 360 product image from DJI.

DJI has skipped the US market release of several products including the Avata 360.

For many users in the U.S., the ban has already had real-world consequences.

DJI has held back several recent releases, including flagship drones and even non-drone products like the Osmo Pocket 4 and Mic Mini 2. For content creators, filmmakers, and commercial operators, that means fewer options—especially in segments where DJI has traditionally dominated.

While this doesn’t guarantee any immediate changes, the FCC’s willingness to accept public comments is being seen as a positive step. It gives users a chance to directly communicate how these restrictions affect their work, safety operations, and livelihoods.

How to Submit a Comment

Those interested can submit their comments through the FCC’s Electronic Comment Filing System. When prompted, enter the proceeding number 26-22 and select: “In the Matter of SZ DJI Technology Co., Ltd.”

From there, it’s just a matter of filling out your details and sharing your experience.

Additional guidance is also available through the Drone Advocacy Alliance website.

For now, this is one of the few avenues available for U.S.-based drone users to have their voices heard. Whether it leads to policy changes remains to be seen—but if you’ve been affected, this might be worth a few minutes of your time.

DJI has released a new teaser for the Osmo Mobile 8P, continuing its steady rollout of new products. The smartphone gimbal is set for a global launch on May 7, 2026, following an earlier release in China.

As with several recent DJI products, availability in the U.S. remains unclear due to ongoing FCC-related restrictions.

A Familiar Gimbal With a New Twist

The teaser, titled “Wonders in Your Palm,” highlights the gimbal’s updated design and one key addition—a detachable remote control. This accessory appears to be one of the main upgrades over the standard Osmo Mobile 8.

The remote, called the Osmo FrameTap, features a built-in display and allows users to monitor footage and control the gimbal from a distance. It’s a similar concept to DJI’s higher-end gimbal systems, bringing more flexible shooting options to the mobile lineup.

Remote Monitoring and Control

The FrameTap can mirror the view from the connected smartphone or the updated Multifunctional Module 2. This makes it easier to frame shots when filming solo, especially for rear-camera selfies or more complex compositions.

It also includes a joystick and record button, giving users control over movement, zoom, and even lighting adjustments. That adds a level of precision that goes beyond standard subject tracking.

The Osmo Mobile 8P introduces ActiveTrack 8.0, which DJI says improves subject tracking reliability. The system is designed to maintain focus even in crowded scenes or when the subject is briefly obstructed.

The updated Multifunctional Module 2 expands tracking to include people, pets, and objects. It also adds an adjustable fill light with multiple brightness and color temperature settings for vlogging.

Stabilization and Shooting Flexibility

The gimbal uses a 3-axis stabilization system with upgraded motors, aimed at delivering smoother footage in a wider range of shooting scenarios. DJI says it remains stable even when shooting at low angles or quickly changing perspectives.

It also supports 360-degree horizontal rotation for panoramic shots. Tilting the gimbal forward enables low-angle tracking, which can be useful for filming pets, kids, or action close to the ground.

Like previous models, the Mobile 8P includes a built-in extension rod for added reach and flexibility. The tripod has also been redesigned with a wider stance for better stability when placed on flat surfaces.

Battery life is rated at up to 10 hours, and the gimbal can double as a power bank via USB-C. It also integrates with the DJI Mimo app, which includes features like ShotGuides and One-Tap Editing for quick video creation.

Ecosystem and Compatibility

The Osmo Mobile 8P is compatible with DJI’s broader ecosystem, including OsmoAudio accessories. That means it can pair with wireless microphones like the recently released Mic Mini 2 for improved audio capture.

Weighing in at 386 grams, it remains relatively portable while adding more advanced features compared to earlier models.

Pricing and Availability

In China, the Osmo Mobile 8P is priced at 979 HKD (around $124) for the standard combo. The Advanced Tracking Combo costs 1,199 HKD (about $153), while the Creator Combo is priced at 1,449 HKD (roughly $185).

The global launch is scheduled for May 7, 2026, at 8 a.m. EDT. However, U.S. availability is still uncertain, and the product has not yet appeared on DJI’s U.S. website.

With the addition of a detachable remote and upgraded tracking, the Osmo Mobile 8P looks like a more flexible tool for mobile creators—especially those shooting solo or working in dynamic environments.

DJI has announced the Mic Mini 2, rounding out a busy month of product launches that included new drones, a vlogging camera, and a portable power station. The new wireless microphone builds on the original Mic Mini from 2024, keeping the same compact design while introducing a more customizable look.

A More Colorful Take on a Familiar Design

At a glance, the Mic Mini 2 looks similar to its predecessor, but DJI is clearly leaning into customization this time. The transmitter now supports interchangeable magnetic front covers in multiple colors, with Obsidian Black and Glaze White included in the box.

Additional color options are sold separately, along with a special “Time Series” collection designed in collaboration with illustrator Victo Ngai. The themed covers—Dawn, Surge, Blaze, and Glimmer—add a more artistic option for users who want something less understated.

Compact Form Factor Stays the Same

The Mic Mini 2 keeps the same ultra-compact footprint, weighing just 11 grams and measuring roughly 28.6 x 28.0 x 13.5mm. It attaches using a rotatable magnetic clip, allowing for flexible positioning while keeping the setup discreet.

The clip design, similar to what DJI introduced with the Mic 3, makes it easier to mount the transmitter without leaving visible hardware in the frame. It’s a small detail, but one that content creators will likely appreciate.

Core Audio Features

Despite its size, the Mic Mini 2 offers a fairly complete feature set for everyday recording. It uses an omnidirectional pickup pattern with a frequency range of 20Hz to 20kHz and supports up to 120dB SPL.

Audio is recorded at 48kHz, 24-bit, with adjustable gain and dual-track recording available through the DJI Mimo app. There are also three voice tone presets, two levels of noise cancellation, and automatic limiting for more consistent audio.

The Mic Mini 2 skips some of the more advanced features found in DJI’s higher-end systems. It does not support 32-bit float recording or onboard internal recording.

For most casual users, that likely won’t be a dealbreaker, but it does reinforce the product’s position as an entry-level or mid-tier option. Those needing more advanced audio control may still need to look at DJI’s premium lineup.

Expanded Receiver Options

Users can also purchase a dedicated mobile receiver for smartphones that have the USB-C port.

One of the more notable updates is the addition of a second receiver option. The system now supports more flexible configurations, including compatibility between Mic Mini and Mic Mini 2 transmitters.

DJI has also introduced a dedicated mobile receiver with a USB-C connection for smartphones. It supports two transmitters at distances of up to 300 meters and records at 48kHz, 24-bit.

Battery Life and Charging

Battery performance remains strong for a device this small. The transmitter is rated for up to 11.5 hours of use with noise cancellation disabled, while the receiver can run for about 10.5 hours.

Charging is relatively quick, with the transmitter taking about 70 minutes and the receiver around 100 minutes for a full charge. A short five-minute top-up can provide roughly an hour of recording time.

DJI is offering two charging case options for the Mic Mini 2.

DJI is offering two charging case options depending on the setup. The larger case holds two transmitters, one receiver, and accessories, while a smaller version is designed for mobile users.

Both cases use Bluetooth 5.3 and automatically put transmitters into sleep mode when disconnected. This helps conserve battery and keeps the system ready for quick use.

A Higher-End Version Is Coming

DJI has also confirmed a Mic Mini 2S, expected later this year. It’s aimed at more advanced users and is rumored to include up to four transmitters and internal recording.

That would address some of the limitations of the standard Mic Mini 2. For now, though, DJI hasn’t shared full details about the upcoming model.

Pricing and Availability

The DJI Mic Mini 2 is available now through DJI’s online store and authorized retailers in multiple configurations. Pricing starts at €54 for a single transmitter with a mobile receiver, while the two-transmitter kit is priced at €89.

Accessories, including windscreens and magnetic covers, are sold separately. DJI says the Mic Mini 2 will not be available in the United States at launch due to pending FCC authorization, with no confirmed timeline yet.

DJI has just recently added a new portable power solution to its lineup with the Power 1000 Mini. Announced alongside a wave of other products, the new unit focuses on portability while still offering enough capacity for creators and travelers who need power on the go.

Smaller, Lighter, and Easier to Carry

The Power 1000 Mini is designed to be more compact than DJI’s existing power stations. At just 12 liters in volume, it’s roughly half the size of some of the company’s larger models.

It also weighs 11.5kg—noticeably lighter than the Power 1000 V2 and significantly lighter than the Power 2000—making it easier to carry to shoots or outdoor locations without much hassle.

1008Wh Capacity for Everyday Use

Inside is a 1008Wh LFP battery, which should be enough to handle a range of devices, from cameras and drones to laptops and small lighting setups. The unit delivers up to 800W of continuous output, with a peak of 1000W, and can support appliances rated up to 1200W in certain scenarios.

For photographers and video shooters, that means it can power continuous lights, recharge batteries, or keep a mobile editing setup running while on location.

Ports and Charging Options

The Power 1000 Mini includes a practical selection of ports: two AC outlets, two USB-A ports, a USB-C port, and a built-in retractable 100W USB-C cable.

There’s also a dedicated SDC port for DJI gear, which supports up to 300W output for faster charging of compatible devices.

Charging is flexible as well. The unit supports wall charging, car charging, and solar input. It can reach 80% in about 58 minutes and fully charge in roughly 75 minutes via AC power.

Car charging takes around 160 minutes, while solar charging is handled through a 400W MPPT system with MC4 connectors.

Built for Real-World Use

DJI is positioning the Power 1000 Mini as a rugged, travel-ready solution. It features a flame-retardant body that can withstand up to one ton of pressure and is designed to operate at altitudes up to 5,000 meters.

The sealed inverter design adds some protection against rain and salt exposure, and a 10-sensor battery management system helps monitor performance and safety.

The unit can also function as a UPS, switching over in about 0.01 seconds during power outages, and supports pass-through charging when connected to solar panels.

Extra Convenience for DJI Users

The SDC port is particularly useful for DJI users, enabling faster charging for compatible drones. DJI says an Air 3 battery, for example, can go from 10% to 95% in around 30 minutes with the appropriate cable.

Users can also monitor and control the power station through the DJI Home app via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.

Pricing and Availability

The DJI Power 1000 Mini is priced at $467 and is available now through DJI’s online store and authorized retailers.

With the Power 1000 Mini, DJI is clearly aiming for a more portable power solution—something that still delivers solid capacity without the bulk of larger power stations.

DJI has officially announced the Lito 1 and Lito X1, two new beginner-focused drones designed to sit at the entry point of its lineup.

While both models are launching globally, they are not expected to be available in the U.S. for now, following the same pattern as several of DJI’s recent releases.

Sub-250g Design for Easy Flying

Both the Lito 1 and Lito X1 fall into the sub-249g category, which generally comes with fewer regulatory requirements in many regions.

They slot into DJI’s ultralight class alongside models like the Neo and Flip, and appear positioned to replace older entry-level options such as the Mini 3 and Mini 4K.

Lito 1 vs Lito X1: What’s the Difference?

The Lito 1 serves as the base model, featuring a 1/2-inch sensor capable of capturing 48-megapixel stills and 4K60p video. It uses a 26mm equivalent lens with an f/1.8 aperture.

The Lito X1 steps things up with a larger 1/1.3-inch sensor and a slightly wider 24mm f/1.7 lens. While it also records 4K60p video, it adds HDR support and DJI’s D-Log M profile for more flexibility in post-production.

Another key difference is storage. The X1 includes 42GB of built-in storage, while the Lito 1 relies solely on microSD cards. Both drones support cards up to 1TB.

Safety and Smart Features

Both drones include an omnidirectional obstacle sensing system using monocular vision, capable of detecting obstacles up to around 15 meters away. The Lito X1 adds forward-facing LiDAR, which should improve obstacle detection and overall flight safety, especially in more complex environments.

DJI’s usual suite of intelligent flight modes is also here, including ActiveTrack, QuickShots, Hyperlapse, Panorama, and MasterShots—features that help simplify aerial capture, especially for beginners.

Flight Performance and Connectivity

The Lito series offers up to 36 minutes of flight time using the standard battery, which can be extended to around 52 minutes with the optional Intelligent Flight Battery Plus. Both drones have a top speed of 18m/s in Sport mode, wind resistance of up to 10.7m/s, and a maximum transmission range of up to 15km using DJI’s O4 system.

They are compatible with the DJI RC-N3 controller, which requires a smartphone for live view. Video transmission is capped at 1080p60 with a latency of around 120ms. File transfers are handled via Wi-Fi 6 through the DJI Fly app, and DJI’s simulator app is also supported for practice flying without risk.

Pricing and Availability

The DJI Lito series is available in most global markets, though not in the U.S. at launch. The Lito 1 is priced at €339 (roughly $400), while the Lito X1 comes in at €419 (around $490). Pricing and availability may vary by region.

With the Lito lineup, DJI looks to be refreshing its entry-level drone offerings—keeping things lightweight and approachable while adding a few features that were previously reserved for higher-end models.
