Insta360 may have another major hit on its hands. Just as the company grabbed attention with its retro-styled Go camera teaser<\/a>, a new leak for the upcoming Luna Ultra is making an even bigger splash online.<\/span><\/p>\n

The biggest reveal? The Luna Ultra<\/a> reportedly has a fully detachable controller and screen setup.<\/span><\/p>\n

A Detachable Screen on a Pocket Camera<\/b><\/h2>\n

New images shared online suggest that the Luna Ultra\u2019s entire controller section\u2014including the OLED display\u2014can detach from the camera body.<\/span><\/p>\n

That means users can control the camera remotely while also getting a live view feed, making it much easier to frame shots from a distance or film themselves without guessing composition.<\/span><\/p>\n

If true, this could be one of the most interesting features we\u2019ve seen on a pocket vlogging camera so far.<\/span><\/p>\n

The concept is somewhat similar to DJI\u2019s FrameTap controller on the Osmo Mobile 8P<\/a> or the Hohem iSteady MT3 Pro remote system. For solo creators, livestreamers, or anyone shooting talking-head videos, this could make setup and framing dramatically easier.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Controller Does More Than Just Display Video<\/b><\/h2>\n

According to the leak<\/a>, the detachable unit supports up to 4K30p live view monitoring and also displays camera settings, zoom levels, and recording information.<\/span><\/p>\n

Physical controls on the remote reportedly include a red record button, joystick, directional pad, and several customizable function buttons. There\u2019s also a status LED and full wireless connectivity between the controller and camera.<\/span><\/p>\n

Insta360 just broke the pocket camera mold.<\/p>\n

The Luna Ultra’s whole handle \u2014 screen, buttons, all of it \u2014 detaches and becomes a wireless remote.<\/p>\n
