DJI has dropped a teaser for a new drone lineup, with the upcoming Lito and Lito X1 set to be unveiled on April 23 at 12:00 p.m. GMT.

The teaser itself is brief and doesn’t reveal much, but it lands just ahead of the Osmo Pocket 4 launch and adds to what’s shaping up to be a busy month for DJI.

A New Entry in the Sub-250g Category

Based on early details, the Lito series looks like it will slot into DJI’s sub-250g ultralight category—alongside models like the Neo and Flip.

If that holds, it could effectively replace the current entry-level Mini lineup. Reports suggest DJI may be phasing out non-Pro Mini models like the Mini 3 and Mini 4K, with the Lito stepping in as the new beginner-friendly option.

There’s also some speculation that newer “Pro” models could move beyond the 250g threshold, which would subject them to stricter regulations in markets like the U.S. and Europe.

What the Teaser (and Leaks) Suggest

DJI hasn’t officially confirmed specs, but leaks have started to paint a clearer picture of what to expect.

The standard Lito 1 is rumored to feature a 48-megapixel camera with a 1/2-inch sensor and an f/1.8 aperture, along with support for RAW photos and familiar DJI features like ActiveTrack, QuickShots, and return-to-home.

The Lito X1 is expected to be the more advanced model, with a larger 1/1.3-inch sensor capable of shooting up to 4K at 100fps. It may also support vertical video recording at 2.7K.

Both drones are said to include omnidirectional obstacle avoidance, with the X1 potentially adding LiDAR for more advanced detection.

Flight Time and Range

If the leaks are accurate, both models will offer up to 36 minutes of flight time and a maximum range of around 15 kilometers.

That would put them roughly in line with current Mini-series drones, though improvements in obstacle avoidance could make them more beginner-friendly overall.

Pricing Expectations

Pricing hasn’t been confirmed by DJI, but a leak from reliable insider Billbil-kun suggests the Lito 1 could start at around €339 with the RC-N3 controller, with a Fly More Combo priced closer to €479.

The Lito X1 is expected to start at around €419, with higher-tier bundles reaching approximately €579 for the Fly More Combo, €679 for a version with the DJI RC 2 controller, and up to €759 for a more advanced Fly More Combo Plus configuration.

What to Watch For

With the official launch set for April 23, it likely won’t be long before full specs and positioning are confirmed.

If the Lito series does replace DJI’s entry-level Mini drones, it could mark a shift in how the company structures its lightweight lineup—especially as regulations and hardware capabilities continue to evolve.
