DJI has confirmed that the Osmo Pocket 4 will be unveiled on April 16 at 8:00 a.m. EDT, following months of leaks and speculation.

The teaser, which carries the tagline “the world in my pocket,” shows a silhouette of the upcoming camera and briefly reveals its sensor—hinting at a larger imaging unit than previous models.

A Bigger Sensor and Video-Focused Features

While DJI hasn’t officially confirmed specifications, earlier reports suggest the Osmo Pocket 4 could feature a 1-inch sensor with up to 14 stops of dynamic range.

The teaser also hints at a more square-shaped sensor design, similar to what DJI has used in recent action cameras. If accurate, that could offer more flexibility when shooting for different aspect ratios.

The camera is also expected to support 10-bit D-Log, giving creators more room for color grading and post-production work.

Leaks point to a notable upgrade in internal storage, with the Osmo Pocket 4 reportedly offering 107GB built in. File transfer speeds are said to reach up to 800MB/s, which would help when working with high-resolution video files.

Another expected feature is 2x “lossless” zoom, which uses sensor cropping to maintain image quality—something that becomes more practical with a larger sensor.

Tracking, Audio, and Stabilization

The Osmo Pocket 4 is also rumored to include ActiveTrack 7.0, DJI’s latest subject tracking system, along with 3-axis gimbal stabilization for smoother footage.

On the audio side, the camera may support OsmoAudio with four-channel recording, allowing for more flexible audio capture and mixing in post.

Like previous models, it’s expected to feature a rotating touchscreen for switching between shooting modes.

Creator Combo Accessories

The Creator Combo is expected to bundle a range of accessories aimed at vloggers and content creators, including a wireless transmitter, wide-angle lens, mini tripod, fill light, and carrying case, among others.

Pricing and Availability

The DJI Osmo Pocket 4 is expected to be priced between $499 and $599, with the Creator Combo likely falling between $649 and $749.

All details will be confirmed when DJI officially announces the camera on April 16.
